2026 Curated Programs

Exhibition

My Tongue is in my friend’s mouth
Exhibition on view during fair hours
Hutson Gallery | Second Floor

My tongue is in my friend's mouth is an exhibition curated by Lindsey Cummins in conjunction with the 2026 Cincinnati Art Book Fair. The exhibition brings together the work of sixteen artists: eight regional artists selected by the curator who were each invited to choose another artist whose work, friendship, or practice has influenced their own. Rooted in the collaborative and communal ethos of print, the exhibition reflects on friendship and mutual becoming as generative forces.

John Wiese Film Program
Exhibition on view during fair hours
Carnegie Theatre | Ground Floor

John Wiese presents a selection of films and videos spanning his prolific practice in experimental cinema, sound, and image-making, where noise, abstraction, violence, and material collide in both contemplative and disorienting ways. Presented as part of the 2026 Cincinnati Art Book Fair at The Carnegie, the screening offers a rare encounter with Wiese’s approach to moving image—fragmentary, visceral, and resistant to conventional narrative.
